You'll be responsible for building and executing a powerful marketing strategy that drives membership growth, brand awareness, and customer loyalty across all Fitness Cartel clubs and digital channels.

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing to take full ownership of marketing across Fitness Cartel, Merse Wellness, FC Apparel, and Nutrition Cartel. You'll have the autonomy to craft and execute strategies that drive brand growth, strengthen engagement, and take our marketing to the next level.

Reporting directly to the COO, and working closely with the CEO and founders, you'll be part of a team that makes fast decisions, values creative input, and empowers you to bring bold ideas to life.

You'll lead an in-house creative and content team, supported by external specialists, ensuring every campaign — from fitness launches to apparel drops and spa experiences, aligns with our vision and delivers results.

• Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy brand positioning, and campaign execution across all brands whilst aligning this strategy with the company goals.
• Drive marketing performance and growth through innovative, data-driven initiatives.
• Lead a high-performing marketing team across digital, creative, and communications.
• Oversee all brand campaigns and the annual marketing calendar, media buying, and digital performance (social, SEO, SEM, email).
• Drive new member acquisition and retention initiatives through data-driven insights.
• Manage external agencies and partnerships to ensure brand consistency and impact.
• Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and franchise teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
• Monitor and analyse marketing performance, ROI, optimisation of budgets & prepare regular reports for the executive team.
• Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all channels and locations.
• Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends in fitness, wellness, and lifestyle.
• Occasionally travel to clubs to ensure brand alignment and marketing execution.

• 8+ years' experience in marketing leadership, ideally within the fitness or wellness
• Strong expertise in digital marketing, social media, and brand management.
• Proven success in multi-channel marketing across digital, social, retail, and brand campaigns.
• Strong background in Meta advertising, automation/EDM, andeCommerce.
• Experience managing large budgets and delivering measurable performance outcomes.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• A strategic thinker who thrives on creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Confidence to challenge existing ideas and push for growth.
• Passion for health, fitness, and creating meaningful brand experiences.
• Australian working rights and flexibility to travel as required.
