- Competitive remuneration ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 plus super & annual leave loading.

The Lead Application Analyst oversees the design, development, troubleshooting, and debugging of websites and single-page applications, shaping department practices and the design system. They lead a team to provide high-quality ICT support, ensuring seamless integration of new systems, operational efficiency, and optimal application performance.
Their responsibilities include identifying opportunities for application and system enhancements, developing integration methodologies in collaboration with ICT professionals and stakeholders, advising on initiatives, managing change processes, and overseeing technology upgrades to minimize downtime.
They plan for emerging ICT needs such as security and disaster recovery, create and maintain documentation and knowledge resources, supervise advanced technical support, and analyse trends to resolve performance issues.

About you -
- Have a passion for automating everything with a deep understanding of configuration management, continuous integration pipelines, and the practical application of agile methodologies.
- Experience in AWS Services such as: CloudFormation, Route53, CloudFront, API Gateway, SQS, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, Cognito, AWS SDK
- Experience in OpenShift Platform: Docker Containers and Kubernetes
- Experience in DevOps tools such as: CloudFormation, Serverless Framework, Maven, GIT, Terraforms, Jenkins/Bamboo, Tekton, ArgoCD, OpenShift
- Highly organised.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cohesively with stakeholders to deliver results.
- Ability to work with a team autonomously.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Degree in Computer Science or related degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
- A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
