The Australian Medical Association NSW is a not for profit membership association representing the medical profession in NSW. As the state's peak body, AMA NSW provides its members with representation on a variety of medical issues, professional services and commercial benefits. We are located in St Leonards close to metro and train stations.

About the Role

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of all HR activities and provide a full range of operational support through the employee lifecycle.

About you

The ideal candidate will be able to effectively deliver the administrative components of the HR role as well as be confident and experienced to provide advice, develop processes and HR improvement projects. You will understand the employee life cycle and are passionate to see people grow in their careers within a supportive work environment. You will enjoy being part of a small, can do team where the ability to implement change.

Responsibilities

Manage the end to end recruitment process

Onboarding and induction programs for new staff

Lead the performance review and performance management processes

Employee Relations

Lead the WH&S compliance

Review, update and introduce new HR policies and procedures

Organise and coordination training and development for staff

To be successful you will have:

Tertiary qualifications in HR or related discipline

Experience as a HR Manager, Coordinator or Officer

Ability to provide effective HR support and ensure policies and procedures are being complied with

Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills
