About the Opportunity
As the Human Resources Advisor at eHealth NSW, you'll provide a broad range of HR services and advice to managers and staff. Working closely with the Senior Human Resources Business Partners, People & Culture Manager, and the broader team, you'll partner with leaders to support day-to-day workforce needs while also contributing to longer-term organisational goals and priorities.
In this role, you will:
- Provide expert HR advice and support across the employee lifecycle, including performance, capability, engagement, policy, and change initiatives.
- Partner with managers and staff to ensure HR solutions are customer-focused, practical, and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Support business units through periods of growth and change, advising on HR policies and workforce planning.
- Interpret complex workforce data and legislation to provide clear advice, reporting, and recommendations.
- Contribute to projects that improve processes, systems, and the overall People and Culture service offering.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment where balancing competing priorities is the norm. Success in this role means building strong relationships, delivering timely and accurate advice, and contributing to a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
About You

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience providing HR advice in a large, complex organisation, ideally using a business partnering model.
- Proven ability to support HR change management initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working in high-volume environments with competing demands.
- Knowledge of HR/IR legislation, policies, and public sector frameworks.
- A customer-focused mindset with a passion for building capability and driving performance through people.
