About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide end-to-end project support with a focus on Contracts Administration, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), and general administration duties. You will also work closely with, and provide guidance to, a Junior Contracts Administrator assigned to the project.
Key Responsibilities
Contracts Administration
- Assist with preparation, review, and management of subcontractor agreements and purchase orders.
- Track and process progress claims, variations, and payment schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and registers.
- Support procurement activities and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company and legislative HSE requirements.
- Prepare and distribute safety documentation, toolbox talks, and incident reports.
- Coordinate inductions and ensure all workers are compliant with site requirements.
- Maintain HSE records, audits, and reporting for the project.
Administration & Project Support
- Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and site team.
- Maintain project schedules, meeting minutes, and action registers.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Act as a point of contact for project stakeholders.
Team Support
- Mentor and support the Junior Contracts Administrator.
- Foster a positive, collaborative working environment.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Contracts Administrator role (construction industry preferred).
- Demonstrated understanding of construction contracts, project processes, and HSE obligations within construction.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities daily.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in document management.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and prior experience with project management software (experience with Lucidity highly regarded).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
