Key Project Coordinator Role
Job Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Key Project Coordinator to oversee commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technical knowledge of the industry.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in project coordination, with experience in coordinating subcontractors, labour and equipment resources.
Responsibilities:- Coordination of subcontractors, labour and equipment resources to ensure efficient project delivery
- Attend to building set out control to guarantee precise project execution
- Supervise activities of trade contractors to maintain high-quality work standards
- Carry out "hands on" activities to support productivity enhancement
- Take a leading role with general carpentry tasks to promote quality outcomes
- Attend to nominal contract administration duties to safeguard project compliance
- Advise on construction efficiencies and troubleshooting where possible to optimize project performance
- Ensure Workplace Health & Safety standards are followed at all times
- 3+ years' experience in commercial projects with a focus on project coordination
- A strong technical knowledge of commercial construction practices
- Local industry knowledge and be highly regarded in the industry for effective collaboration
- Excellent management, computer and communication skills to facilitate seamless project execution
- Concept of job ownership to drive project success
