Head Chef – Breakfast & Lunch Focus

Location: Carrum Downs, Melbourne

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (No weekends)

We are seeking a skilled Head Chef with at least 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff
  • Plan, design, and develop breakfast & lunch menus
  • Oversee corporate catering and ensure smooth service
  • Create a variety of fresh salads and healthy options
  • Maintain consistent quality across all dishes
  • Manage stock control and ordering
  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance
  • Supervise bain-marie displays, focusing on Asian and Italian cuisines

About You

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar kitchen leadership role
  • Skilled in breakfast, lunch, and corporate catering service
  • Creative, organized, and reliable under pressure
  • Passionate about quality, presentation, and consistency
