About the role

Volona & Associates For Hair is seeking three Assistant Managers or Senior Stylists to join our team in their Maddington, Belmont and Canning Vale salon locations. These are full-time roles that will play a vital part in supporting the day-to-day operations of our thriving hair salon.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assisting the Salon Manager in overseeing all aspects of salon operations
  2. Ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction
  3. Supervising and supporting a team of stylists
  4. Managing staff rosters, schedules and performance
  5. Maintaining inventory control and ordering supplies as needed
  6. Providing hands-on support with hair cutting, colouring, perming, straightening and styling

What we're looking for

  1. No previous management experience is necessary as we will train you in the Volona way, you just need experience as a qualified and passionate hairdresser.
  2. Experience in a salon assistant manager or similar supervisory role would be looked upon favourably
  3. Excellent customer service and client relationship skills
  4. Strong communication and leadership abilities to effectively help manage a team
  5. Demonstrable skills in hair cutting, colouring, perming, straightening and styling
  6. Proficient in inventory management and meeting financial targets
  7. A passion for the hair industry and keeping up with the latest trends
