The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for a talented
senior lawyer
or
senior associate
to our leading Banking & Finance team in Sydney.

Working collaboratively with highly regarded partner Graeme Tucker, as well as other partners and senior practitioners across our broader Transactions group, you will enjoy working on a diverse range of complex matters spanning corporate, structured and asset-based financing transactions, as well as restructuring and special situations.

As a key member of the team, you will act for a variety of lenders and financiers including commercial and investment banks, credit funds and other institutional financial services entities.

You will play a lead role running transactions, with significant client exposure. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers, contribute to their development and help shape the future of the practice.

About You

  • 4+ years legal practice experience, gained within a reputable Banking & Finance practice at a reputable commercial law firm
  • Demonstrated experience with Corporate or Structured financing (lender side)
  • Some experience with, or desire to learn, front-end restructuring would be highly regarded
  • Strong academic performance
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to run matters with autonomy and efficiency
  • Ability and willingness to mentor graduates and junior team members
