About the Role

This is a client-facing sales and relationship development role. As
Sales Associate
, your primary focus will be to generate new business opportunities, build trust with legal professionals, and support them through the process of engaging our mortgage services.

You'll be the face of our brand – proactively building relationships within the legal sector, attending industry events, and nurturing inbound and outbound leads. You'll also work closely with our brokers and marketing team to ensure each client experience is seamless and high-touch.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and engage legal professionals interested in mortgage and lending solutions
  • Build relationships with lawyers, in-house counsel, partners, and legal support staff
  • Follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns and industry referrals
  • Represent
    Broker For Lawyers
    at legal networking events, seminars, and conferences
  • Maintain accurate lead tracking and client communication records
  • Work closely with mortgage brokers to ensure smooth handover of leads
  • Assist with sales admin tasks including proposal follow-ups and meeting coordination
  • Share market feedback with the team to improve service offerings and engagement


Key Strengths & Qualities

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    – polished, professional, and confident speaking with lawyers
  • Experience in sales, business development or relationship management
  • Comfortable attending client meetings and networking events in person
  • Able to build
    credibility quickly
    in a professional services environment
  • Organised and responsive
    – follows up leads and communicates promptly
  • Motivated by results and has a
    hunter mentality
    for generating new business
  • Adaptable and open to learning about lending, mortgage processes, and financial products
  • Knowledge or network within the
    legal sector
    is highly desirable


Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in sales, account management or client services
  • Experience working with high-calibre clients in finance, recruitment, property, or legal sectors
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Based in Sydney with ability to travel to client meetings and events
  • A background in
    legal sales
    ,
    mortgage broking
    , or
    professional services
    is a plus
