Collingwood Automotive Repairs has a long history of providing high-quality automotive repair services across multiple makes and models of passenger vehicles and is looking for a motivated and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle faults and issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, fuel systems, suspension and electrical systems
  • Conducting scheduled vehicle servicing and maintenance
  • Replacing worn or faulty parts and components
  • Repair & replace tyres
  • Test driving vehicles to ensure repairs have been carried out effectively
  • Maintaining detailed job records and documentation
  • Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or queries

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified Motor Mechanic
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Their own tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Good communication, excellent customer service skills and is punctual
  • Ability to work well within a team, but also confidently without supervision
  • A current driver's licence (Manual preferred)
  • A passion for the automotive industry
