TMS Accountants and Advisors is a boutique tax advisory and accounting firm, based in Scarborough. We are seeking an Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join the team on a permanent, part-time basis between 3 – 5 days per week, 9am – 4pm. Flexibility of days per week for the right candidate. Please advise your preference/availability on application.

The key purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth and seamless running of the firm by providing administration and bookkeeping/payroll support to our clients and staff.

Office Manager: duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Administrative support to director and senior accountants.

· Assist with answering phone calls and client queries.

· Staff management and workflow, ensuring key deadlines are met.

· Onboarding and maintaining client databases.

· Ensuring compliance deadlines are met with the Australian Taxation Office and ASIC

· Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data is met.

Bookkeeping duties:

· Accounts payable and receivable.

· Processing Payroll and superannuation for clients and firm.

· Preparation of BAS and IAS.

· Account reconciliations for clients.

· Accounts creation, support, and advice for clients.

Qualifications and experience:

· Proven experience in a similar Office Manager/Bookkeeping role.

· Excellent interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work as part of a team but also be self-motivated.

· Highly developed organisational skills and an ability to prioritise/meet deadlines.

· Experience with accounting software Xero is preferrable, as well as experience with other accounting software.

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

· Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
