What does the job look like?We're looking for a commercially driven and operationally savvy National Manager. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers, driving financial performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
You'll oversee national contracts, manage key customer relationships, and lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and continuous improvement. This is a dynamic opportunity to shape outcomes, influence strategy, and lead a team committed to excellence. Key Areas:
- Lead financial and operational performance across national customer contracts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Drive business analysis and development, including profitability reviews, rate negotiations, and new business proposals.
- Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, including audits, SOPs, and quality documentation.
- Champion continuous improvement by streamlining reporting and operational processes.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customer representatives.
- Oversee human resources and industrial relations performance, ensuring teams are trained, competent, and aligned with Linfox values.
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to WHS policies and procedures.
- Act as the key contact for customers on contract and service-related matters, ensuring service excellence and contract compliance.

- Several years' experience in logistics and business management, ideally in a national or multi-site capacity.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive performance across diverse operations.
- Experience with SAP and a solid understanding of warehouse and transport systems.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in business management, accounting, or economics (desirable).
- A commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- The ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
