About The Team
Our
Operations
team works with a diverse customer base to support several nationally significant supply chains. With management responsibility spanning across five states, our 8,500km rail network is used to transport bulk products, passenger and general freight, including steel and a vast array of consumer items such as groceries, electrical goods and other items for both import and export markets.
The Operations teams work within several complex and challenging environments, including some of the busiest rail corridors in Australia to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable service delivery outcomes for its customers, stakeholders and the community.
About The Opportunity
Work collaboratively within a team to conduct high quality maintenance duties, including the operation of plant and equipment, on ARTC's network.
- Carry out routine and ad-hoc maintenance duties on ARTC's network
- Work as part of the team to minimise network operational delays, respond to network emergencies, failures and breakdowns as required.
What do we want from you?
To ensure success in this position, applicants will be able to demonstrate:
Essential
- Current drivers licence and proficiency in driving a manual car.
- Computer proficiency - Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Desirable
- Civil, rail or plant experience
- HR licence
- Plant and equipment tickets
- Protection Officer qualifications
- Track certification qualifications
- On track labouring experience
