Following recent internal movement within the Finance team, there has been an opening for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Working with multiple vendors across multiple SSP entities, and units across Australia

  • Processing and facilitation of data entry process from Inventory system into Microsoft NAV (Navision)

  • Payment facilitation and ledger reconciliations

  • Vendor queries and responses

  • Purchase Order and Inventory analysis

  • Complex vendor statement reconciliations

  • Trade Vendor management and updates

  • Ad-hoc duties

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Degree in Accounting, with at least started CPA/CA – 1 course passed

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Trustworthy to manage intercompany relationships

  • Work as part of a team with strict deadlines and timetables, as well as autonomously

  • Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables) at least at intermediate level

  • 2-3 years at least accounts payable experience

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Self-motivated and ability to manage multiple tasks
