About The Role
We're looking for a Growth Manager a deep understanding of digital marketing to develop and execute growth strategies that drive significant revenue increases in Australia. In this role, you'll oversee marketing channels, optimise performance, and explore new avenues for customer acquisition. From

, you'll be responsible for ensuring all growth initiatives are integrated, data-driven, and aligned with Simple Online Doctor's business goals.
This role requires an understanding of the Australian market, strong leadership skills, and expertise in leading and managing digital marketing channels such as paid search, social media, SEO, CRM, and emerging platforms like Bing PPC and Spotify advertising. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives that expand our customer base while optimising key performance metrics.
What You'll Be Doing
As our Growth Manager, you'll take ownership of channel strategy, Paid campaigns, resource allocation, and performance optimisation to drive sustainable growth in the Australian market. You will work closely with marketing (CRM, SEO, CRO), product, compliance, and analytics teams to ensure every initiative contributes to Simple Online Doctor's success.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Execution
- Design and implement growth strategies that align with Simple Online Doctor's objectives and drive substantial revenue growth.
- Oversee a mix of marketing channels, ensuring the right balance between mature, emerging, and experimental platforms.
Channel Management & Optimisation
- Provide strategic oversight for established channels (e.g., Google Ads, SEO, CRM, paid social), being directly hands-on when necessary, to maximise performance.
- Take a hands-on approach to emerging channels like Bing PPC and Spotify advertising, from pilot testing to full-scale execution.
- Identify new, innovative channels (e.g., TikTok, YouTube) and assess their potential impact through market research and feasibility studies.
Data-Driven Growth
- Use advanced analytics tools (GA4, LookerStudio, DataStudio) to track performance, optimise marketing spend, and maximise ROI.
- Implement rigorous monitoring and reporting systems to ensure alignment with revenue, CAC, LTV, and conversion rate targets.
Resource Allocation & Budgeting
- Manage budget distribution across channels to maximise impact and ROI.
- Prioritise high-performing channels while testing and scaling new opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with SEO, CRM, CRO, compliance and product teams to create an integrated approach to growth.
- Align content strategies, campaign themes, and cross-channel insights for enhanced effectiveness.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and expand a team of channel specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate channel performance and growth strategies to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in start-up environments, proven track record of scaling from 5M ARR to 30M ARR in 2-3 years.
- Extensive experience in digital marketing and growth strategy, with a focus on PPC, paid social and performance marketing.
- Proficiency in Google Ads Manager, GA4, Braze, META and SEMrush.
- Strong analytical skills, with extensive experience in LookerStudio, DataStudio, and data segmentation/forecasting.
Leadership & Strategy
- Proven track record in leading and scaling marketing teams.
- Experience in developing high-impact growth strategies that directly drive revenue expansion.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition, LTV, CAC, and conversion rate optimisation.
Market & Industry Knowledge
- Understanding of the Australian market, including consumer behaviour, competitive landscape, and regulatory considerations.
- Experience adapting global strategies to fit local market nuances.
- The ability to bring deep marketing experience to a healthcare setting. Healthcare market and regulatory knowledge are beneficial, but not essential.
Soft Skills & Collaboration
- Ability to work cross-functionally with clinical, product, and patient care teams to enhance growth initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading strategic presentations.
Language & Tools
- Fluent in English
- Experience with project management tools is beneficial but not essential.
Success metrics
- Reduce CAC by min 20% while maintaining LTV and volume
- Increase funnel conversion rate across all channels by min 10% through testing and refining
- Develop new initiatives that refine the end product, improving CSAT and retention metrics by 10-15%
- Achieve min 25% improvement in ad creative CVR via testing roadmap
