About the Role

Sheldon College is seeking a professional, service-oriented Administrator to join our Finance team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the heart of operations - balancing administrative coordination, front-desk service, and light financial tasks that help the College run smoothly.

As the first point of contact for families, students, and staff at the Finance counter, you'll provide exceptional service while supporting day-to-day finance processes such as receipting, invoicing, and reconciliations. You'll work closely with the Accounts Receivable Officer and wider Finance team to maintain accurate records and ensure a positive experience for everyone you assist.

This role is Full Time, Term Time

About You

  • Strong administrative or front-office experience, ideally within education, finance, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - confident engaging with families, students, and staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with numbers and handling daily financial transactions.
  • Confident using digital systems and databases (experience with TASS, OWNA or similar an advantage).
  • A positive, team player with initiative and a proactive, service-driven approach.
  • Eligibility to hold a Working with Children Blue Card (essential).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide welcoming, professional service at the Finance counter and via phone/email
  • Coordinate daily administrative and finance tasks (receipting, data entry, reconciliations)
  • Support billing and statement preparation in collaboration with the Finance team
  • Manage ticketing and payment coordination for College events
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical records and ensure compliance with College policies
