What is your role?

• As
  Accounts
  Assistant
  , you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance team with the day-to-day accounting operations of the business. You'll be hands-on with transactional accounting while gaining exposure to broader commercial processes across our national business.
• Your key responsibilities will include:
• Assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities.
• Raising client invoices/credits
• Managing a portfolio of debtors.
• Performing balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with month-end processes.
• Supporting accurate financial reporting and contributing to process improvements.
• Collaborating with the finance and project teams to ensure timely and accurate financial outcomes.

About You

• Qualifications:
  Degree in Business or Accounting.
• Experience:
  Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance or accounting team.
• Technical skills:
  Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (MYOB experience advantageous).
• Attributes:
  Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bonus:
  Familiarity with professional services environments will be well regarded.
