  1. About the role

This is a full-time position for a Sport and Recreation Officer at SMYL in Rockingham, Western Australia. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sport and recreation activities to our students, with a focus on promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

  1. Planning, organising and facilitating a range of sport, recreation and physical activity programs and events
  2. Developing and delivering innovative programs that cater to diverse needs of our school community
  3. Promoting participation and actively recruiting participants for SMYL's sport and recreation initiatives
  4. Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness and participant satisfaction
  5. Providing mentorship and support to our students

What we're looking for

  1. Relevant qualifications in sport, recreation or a related field
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in sport and recreation program delivery
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders
  4. Strong organisational and time management abilities to coordinate multiple activities
  5. Demonstrated passion for promoting active and healthy lifestyles
  6. First aid and CPR certification
