Do you enjoy solving technical problems and helping others grow? Capral is seeking an experienced Fabricator Technical Support & Training Specialist to join our team in Huntingwood.

This exciting full-time role is focused on supporting our Fabricator network, Account Managers, and Customer Service team through expert training, technical assistance, and hands-on support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Capral's fabricator network.
  • Provide product and tooling training to Account Managers and Customer Service teams.
  • Deliver expert technical support to fabricators – including product selection, tooling, and fabrication best practices.
  • Support with estimation software and tooling setup/maintenance.
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to fabricators to ensure tooling is operational and well-maintained.
  • Offer project-specific solutions that comply with Australian Standards.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity; suggest product improvements or innovations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of Safety, Health & Environment (SH&E).

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aluminium and glass fabrication
  • Proficiency in reading window schedules, plans, and shop drawings
  • Sound knowledge of industry standards and technical decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently
  • Proficient in software applications such as Softtech V6, Logikal, AutoCAD, MS Word & Excel
  • Valid Australian driver's licence and willingness to travel

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Capral's product range and market applications
  • Background in drafting, specification, or fabrication
