Job description - Sales Development Representative
This isn't just a sales or admin role, it's an opportunity to get hands-on with technical products, learn the full product lifecycle, and make a real impact on large scale events. You'll work across the business with event managers, electricians, and engineers to provide custom power solutions that keep Australia's biggest events running smoothly.
Job responsibilities - Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative, your day-to-day will include:
- Listening to customer needs and recommending suitable products or configurations from inbound leads
- Preparing detailed quotes and proposals for electrical leads, connectors, and distribution setups
- Coordinating orders from sales through to shipping and invoicing
- Helping manage stock levels and maintaining product listings
- Assisting with content updates and warehouse operations
- Identifying product gaps and improvement opportunities based on customer feedback
- Collaborating with a supportive team to refine workflows and improve customer experience
Job requirements - Sales Development Representative
This role is open to a range of backgrounds You might be:
- A recent electrical or engineering graduate eager to apply your knowledge in a business setting
- A qualified electrician or technician ready to move into a more customer-facing, corporate role
- Or someone with strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills looking for a fresh challenge
What we're looking for:
- Basic understanding of electrical systems (e.g. 3-phase vs single-phase, plugs, sockets, connectors)
- Ability to interpret power/load requirements and read wiring diagrams or spec sheets
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A proactive and team-orientated attitude
