Located in Hobart CBD, our service is rated Exceeding by the National Quality Standard (NQS) and supports children to explore, discover, and learn.  The centre offers great facilities including a brand-new playground and furnishings. Learn more about our childcare service in Hobart.

As the Room Leader, you will support a team of educators that are passionate about nurturing the confidence, strengths, and interests of the children in our high-quality, Reggio Emilia inspired early learning program.

You will implement programs that reflect cultural backgrounds and the emerging skills and interests of children and create a play-based learning environment responsive to children's strengths and abilities. You will implement daily routines, maintain records of development, and continuously reflect and improve children's learning.

In addition to base hourly rate and superannuation, you'll also receive 17.5% leave loading and the ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits that can be used on rent, mortgage repayments, or living expenses such as groceries, bills, clothing, streaming services, and much more.

City parking available for our team on shift, round the corner from the service.

Holding a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent), you have a sound knowledge of early learning quality and educational frameworks.

You will also bring with you:

• An ability to lead the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with other educators, families and children.
• An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
• A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations.
• An ability to learn and understand early childhood development theories.
