Housekeeping Team Leader (Part Time)

The Tasman, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Hobart, is located just steps from Hobart's waterfront and the city's top restaurants and attractions. The Tasman is a unique combination of Modern Contemporary, Art Deco and Heritage architecture. Presenting 152 luxuriously appointed guest rooms and suites with carefully restored features and adorned with exclusive art pieces from local artists, The Tasman reflects the true spirit of the destination.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting leadership opportunity within our housekeeping department as Housekeeping Team Leader (Part Time). The successful applicant will have prior experience leading a team in Housekeeping preferably in a large 5-star establishment and be able to demonstrate leadership qualities, high standards and commitment to The Tasman service ethics.

About the Role

Responsible for the day-to-day housekeeping operation

Working from 9:30am – 3pm up to the business need

Responsible for arranging housekeeping attendant allocations

Identify training requirements for housekeeping associates

Liaise with front office

About You

Previous experience in a similar role is essential

Strong communication and leadership skills

Excellent stakeholder management and communication/influencing skills

High levels of organizational and planning skills

Proven experience building a strong culture

Rigorous commitment to accuracy and attention to details

Integrity and professional

Experience with a variety of hotel systems
