We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Engineer on a full-time ongoing basis to play a key role in the planning, management, configuration, and delivery of network upgrades and critical infrastructure across the region. This is a full-time, ongoing position based within the Shared Services team at LRH.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical analysis, troubleshooting, and recommendations.
- Support and maintain LAN and WAN environments, network hardware, and software.
- Assist with installation, upgrades, monitoring, and performance optimisation of ICT systems.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues referred via the GHA Service Desk.
- Contribute to service management processes including incident, problem, change, and release management.
- Manage multiple ICT projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with health service stakeholders and vendors.
About you
Ideal candidates for this role will have:
- Year 12 education or equivalent, with a current Driver's Licence.
- Demonstrated experience in medium to large Cisco, HP, and Microsoft-based environments.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with LAN/WAN design and communication technologies.
- Proven experience with Cisco environments (including Call Manager and Networking) and methods for securing networks.
- Experience supporting hyper-converged infrastructure and Windows Server environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in complex organisations.
- A collaborative, adaptable approach with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.
