The Opportunity
CARE Australia (part of CARE International) is an international aid organisation working to defeat global poverty by supporting women and girls to create lasting change in their communities around the world.
As part of CARE's Program Development team, you will play a key role in mobilising institutional funding to support programs that empower women and girls across the Pacific. You will identify and secure high-value opportunities, manage complex bid processes, and coordinate cross-country resource mobilisation to achieve revenue targets.
To secure this opportunity you will ideally have:
- Experience in a similar role preparing funding submissions/tenders to institutional donors
- Knowledge of Australian Government funding agencies (DFAT, DHA), culture and systems; familiarity with CARE's programs in Asia and the Pacific would be an advantage
- Strong proposal writing and editing skills
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to work effectively across multi-disciplinary and cross culture teams
- Experience of developing and using systems and tools to track and manage funding opportunities e.g. pipeline trackers, Go/No Go processes, and cost benefit analysis
