About the Company

Our client is a leading provider of integrated services to the mining and civil construction industries, known for their commitment to operational excellence, safety, and quality. Due to continued growth across their national operations, they are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join their team in a permanent capacity.

About the Role

As a Contract Administrator, you will provide essential commercial and contractual support across the entire contract lifecycle. This role plays a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of project and operational outcomes by managing contractual obligations with both clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial and contractual support across all phases of contract management – pre-award, execution, and post-award
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to ensure compliance and mutual benefit
  • Prepare and maintain contractual documentation in line with company policies and procedures
  • Assess and manage contract variations and amendments as required
  • Maintain accurate and well-organised records of all contract-related documentation
  • Identify and assess contractual risks and propose effective mitigation strategies
  • Advise internal stakeholders on contractual interpretation, obligations, and compliance
  • Oversee the full contract lifecycle from initial drafting to final execution and closure
  • Manage a contract management system to ensure records are accurate, complete, and up to date

About You

  • Experience in a Contract Administrator role within mining, civil, construction, or related industries
  • Strong understanding of contract law, procurement, and commercial practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex contractual documentation
  • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management systems
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Construction Management, or a related field (desirable)
