HR Advisor – 12 Month Assignment (Mining & Construction Sector)

Perth, WA

12-month contract with potential to go permanent

Keystone People Solutions is seeking an experienced and hands-on
HR Advisor
to join one of our key clients in the mining & construction sector. This embedded role offers the chance to work closely with a busy team supporting employees and managers across the full employee lifecycle.

About the role

This is a varied and fast-paced position where no two days are the same. You'll provide day-to-day HR support to managers and staff, coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, and assist with employee relations, engagement, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to the HR team, employees, and managers across all stages of the
    employee life cycle
    – onboarding, performance reviews, and general HR queries.
  • Assist with
    employee relations
    matters including performance management, grievances, and disciplinary processes (with guidance from senior HR staff).
  • Maintain and update
    HR policies, procedures, and templates
    , and support the rollout of HR systems and improvement projects.
  • Coordinate
    recruitment activities
    – advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination, and preparing employment documentation.
  • Contribute to
    HR and culture initiatives
    , including employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition programs.
  • Complete
    HR administration
    such as maintaining employee records, preparing HR reports, and updating HRIS data.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a
    generalist HR or HR Advisor role
  • Working knowledge of HR processes and legislation (mining or resources experience highly regarded)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • A collaborative, proactive approach with a genuine passion for supporting people and culture initiatives
