Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

  • Design, deploy, and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud network infrastructures.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues related to connectivity, latency, throughput, and system integration.
  • Plan and execute upgrades, maintenance, and expansion of existing infrastructure.
  • Implement and enforce security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, NAC, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, DevOps, Security, and Application teams) on projects and network requirements.
  • Lead network architecture planning for new sites, mergers, or data center migrations.
  • Maintain documentation for network configurations, standards, procedures, and diagrams.
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations to improve network efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage relationships with ISPs, vendors, and third-party service providers.
  • Mentor and support junior network engineers and technicians.

Deep understanding of network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, MPLS, TCP/IP).

Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, or Arista routing and switching platforms.

Proficient in firewall management (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower).

Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, NetFlow).

Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL), NAC, and SD-WAN.

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.

Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, SNMP, and related network services
