Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Network Engineer located in Newcastle, NSW. The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining network infrastructure, including tasks such as network administration, troubleshooting, and security enforcement. Day-to-day activities include designing and implementing network solutions, conducting performance monitoring, and resolving connectivity issues promptly. This role demands strong attention to detail and effective collaboration with other IT professionals to ensure robust and reliable network operations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Administration and Network Engineering
  • Strong skills in Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues
  • Experience in Network Security, ensuring systems are protected from threats
  • Competence in Network Design, including planning and implementing network solutions
  • Ability to operate and coordinate within an on-site team environment
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA or similar qualifications preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
