ACQUA DRILL RESOURCES is currently seeking a field – based Drilling Supervisor to join our Dynamic Team

Proudly West Australian-owned and operated, Acqua Drill Resources is currently seeking a field-based Drilling Supervisor. For over ten-years, Acqua Drill Resources has been providing hydrogeological drilling and test pumping services to Western Australia's mining, agriculture and municipal sectors.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in Water Well Drilling and have demonstrated history of working to strict safety and quality standards in a field-based leadership position. This position is a FIFO role on a 2/2 roster from Perth, on a Full-Time permanent position with annual & personal leave entitlements plus remuneration incentives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily rig operations, managing crew and client relations on site.
  • Communicate progress and challenges with our Operations Manager and Client Project Leaders to keep drilling programs on track.
  • Lead safety compliance and support our team in developing detailed risk assessments and critical control verifications daily.
  • Ensure all field operations comply with Acqua policies and procedures.
  • Coach and develop team members and conduct reviews of employee performance in line with the overall organisational strategy and development plan.
  • Work with our maintenance team to oversee equipment readiness through regular maintenance checks, reporting, and preventive care.
  • Participate in contractor safety meetings to share successes, identify areas for improvement, and capture feedback.
  • Work alongside our HSE team to lead investigations into any incidents or hazards, ensuring timely and effective corrective actions.

A few things we are looking for:

  • Extensive supervisory experience in drilling operations - essential.
  • Cert IV in Drilling Operations - essential.
  • Water Well Licence - essential.
  • HR License - essential.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to provide or undertake Australian National Police Clearance.
  • Ability to pass a Acqua pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
