Access Mining is an underground mining contractor delivering more than just ore. Our next project in Western Australia, is an underground gold mining operation with an initial 8-year mine life.

About the Role:

The Production Drill Operator is responsible for maximising the utilisation and productivity of the production drill, and supporting the Shift Supervisor in coordinating the activities around the production drill.

About You:

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Experience operating Epiroc boom mounted production drills
  • Experience setting up and maintaining safe, productive drill sites
  • Previous experience ensuring production drilling is carried out accurately and according to the drill plan, operating standards and specifications
  • Experience using Minnovare drilling assistance software (desirable)
  • Ensuring the production drill is maintained in safe clean, working order
  • Proven experience working collaboratively to optimise productivity, compliance to work schedules, and delivering quality work
  • Skilled in liaising with Maintenance peers to report mechanical issues to achieve required plant availability and optimise productivity levels
  • Proficient in training other team members in all aspects of the Production Drill Operator role
  • Uphold high safety standards and a commitment to our Zero Harm culture

You will hold the following qualifications and licences:

  • Current Australian C-Class Driver's Licence
  • Valid WA Security Clearance (desirable)
