Join our team as an Insurance Operations Specialist
Are you an experienced insurance professional looking to make a significant impact? We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Specialist to enhance our operational efficiency and improve member insurance outcomes. In this pivotal role, you will focus on transitioning our operations to a digital-first future state model.

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor and optimise insurance operations processes to drive efficiency
• Provide expert guidance to colleagues and our administrator on insurance product administration.
• Oversee the resolution of insurance incidents
• Support management in day-to-day insurance activities and business rule adherence
• Act as the subject matter expert for projects involving insurance touchpoints
• Collaborate with partners to implement changes to business rules.
• Maintain a continuous improvement mindset to uplift processes and services.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in life insurance (Group or Retail) at insurer, administrator or superannuation Trustee with demonstrated success in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of group insurance, including death cover, income protection, and TPD.
• Experience with incidents, transitions, or SFT, and corporate-sponsored super plans.
• Proven ability in stakeholder management and interacting with senior leaders.
• Willingness to challenge and question the status quo.
• Understanding of the latest insurance standards, legislation, and regulations.
• Change management experience.
• Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration experience.
• Proven track record in operationalising insurance product and legislative changes.
• Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment.
