MSS Security is currently seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer with a current NV1 Security Clearance to join our team at Thales, in Point Wilson (Geelong). This is a gatehouse-based position, responsible for access control, visitor management, and ensuring the security of the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and controlling access of the site
  • Conducting thorough ID checks and verifying clearances
  • Logging all vehicle and personnel movements
  • Conducting regular site patrols to check for security risks, ensure doors and access points are secure & responding to alarms or incidents
  • Monitoring CCTV footage
  • Issuing and collecting visitor passes and access cards

Requirements:

  • Australian Citizen with a current NV1 Clearance
  • Certificate II in security operations (or higher)
  • Victorian Security License (Control Room Endorsement is advantageous)
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Driver's License
  • Availability to work a 24*7 rotational roster
