Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Operations Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and performance of our data platforms and services.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data operations, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement in data delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and optimize existing data pipelines and workflows using SQL and Azure Synapse.

  • Provide support for data-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution with root cause analysis.

  • Monitor and maintain data quality, performance, and availability across platforms.

  • Support legacy systems and address ongoing demands such as incident fixes, performance tuning, and enhancements.

  • Apply ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

  • Engage with business stakeholders to improve customer experience and satisfaction through data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL, including writing complex queries and performance tuning.

  • Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or similar cloud-based data platforms.

  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management practices.

  • Proven experience in customer support, preferably in a data or IT environment.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive mindset.

  • Solid understanding of cloud services (preferably Azure or AWS) and relational databases.

  • Experience working in Agile environments (preferably SAFe/Agile).

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Good to have:

  • Basic understanding of Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

  • Exposure to data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.

  • Certifications in ITIL, Cloud (Azure / AWS) or Agile methodologies (SAFe).

  • Python and/or Pyspark for scripting and data handling
