About The Role

This key role is responsible for leading the finance operations of the group, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, maintaining a robust control environment, and supporting strategic decision-making. The role oversees statutory and management reporting, treasury, and compliance across the company's loan portfolios.

Some Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and annual financial reporting in line with AASB and lending industry standards.
• Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and process efficiency.
• Lead automation of finance operations and optimisation of technology to improve efficiency and generation of business insights.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and debt covenant compliance.
• Support capital raising and lender reporting obligations.
• Effectively manage a small team.

About You

You are a qualified, experienced professional, with demonstrated experience in complex financial reporting and corporate governance roles. You should enjoy working in a close-knit, established team where you will bring your technical expertise to compliment the balance of skills we already possess. Financial Services industry exposure is preferred.

Experience We're Looking For

• CA/CPA qualified.
• At least 8 years' experience in financial control or audit.
• A collaborative and confident communicator across technical, operational and executive teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of AASB 9, credit provisioning, and securitisation reporting.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to company secretarial duties (e.g. preparing board and shareholder resolutions) and company reporting to ASIC (desirable).
