We are Martu people, we are the Native Title Holders, the Traditional Owners and custodians of the Wiluna Native Title area, including the Matuwa and Kurrara Kurrara Indigenous Protected Area.

Tarlka Matuwa Piarku Aboriginal Corporation (TMPAC) is the Registered Native Title Body Corporate (RNTBC) established to hold the Native Title rights and interests of the Wiluna Native Title Holders. TMPAC holds recognised Native Title rights under traditional law and custom and shares responsibility with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions for managing Matuwa Kurrara Kurrara National Park and Lake Carnegie Class A Nature Reserve.

We are pleased to offer a full-time opportunity for a Logistics and Administration Coordinator to join our growing team at our Head Office in Perth.

In this role, you will be integral to supporting the day-to-day operations of TMPAC. Working both independently and collaboratively within a friendly, supportive team, you will coordinate logistical tasks and provide a range of administrative and office support services. Your efforts will ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of organisational activities and projects.

Logistics

  • Coordinate on-country meetings, workshops, and events, including travel logistics, venue hire, accommodation, and catering
  • Support in-house meetings and events, including setup, pack-down, and catering service
  • Arrange travel bookings (flights, accommodation, transport) for directors, committee members, and staff
  • Maintain vehicle records, logbooks, and organise maintenance and repairs
  • Arrange hire vehicles and coordinate transportation of our staff and board members when required
  • Act as the main point of contact for all logistical enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Support event coordination, including Annual General Meetings (AGMs), including organising merchandise
  • Create purchase orders and liaise with finance for invoicing and cost recovery
  • Manage the central organisational calendar
  • Managing and reconciling logistics credit card

Administration

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Welcome and assist visitors, manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, and respond to enquiries
  • Maintain office supplies, merchandise, and equipment
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Executive Assistant to support office and project needs
  • Assist departments with administrative tasks, data entry, and member queries
  • Provide administrative support to Heritage Coordinators
  • Cover reception duties as required

Selection Criteria

  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, organisations, and communities in a culturally respectful and appropriate manner is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain respectful relationships with Traditional Owners, Elders, and community representatives
  • Strong background in logistics and operations support
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proactive approach and effective problem-solving skills
  • Confident and polite phone manner
