About the Role

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Female Disability Support Workers for a SIL home to join our team in Karnup, WA. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a role in vital part in in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live independently and engage with their local community.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote client wellbeing and community inclusion
  • Advocate for client rights and ensure their needs are met with dignity and respect
  • Maintain accurate client records and documentation
  • Collaborate with allied health professionals to develop and implement client-centred support plans
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for clients

What We're Looking For

  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or an equivalent qualification in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services
  • Demonstrated experience providing person-centred support to individuals with disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
  • A current First Aid certificate and a valid driver's licence
  • A strong commitment to upholding the values of LivEasy Care' and promoting client independence and inclusion
