Thomson Automotive - your local dealer for Honda, BYD, Skoda, and Mitsubishi - is looking for a friendly and motivated Bookings Consultant to join our dynamic Service Department in Rydalmere.

This is a part time casual role working 2 - 3 days per week, 8am - 4pm (with flexible starting times). An immediate start is available.

You'll be part of a close-knit team of three bubbly and supportive team members, working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where no two days are the same.

Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Customer Bookings & Scheduling
  • Handle incoming service booking enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Schedule service appointments efficiently across multiple brands and departments.
  • Allocate bookings to appropriate workshop bays, technicians, or advisors based on job type and complexity.
  • Confirm bookings with customers and send reminders via SMS or email.
  • Customer Communication & Service
  • Provide professional, friendly, and accurate information regarding servicing, maintenance, recalls, and warranty work.
  • Follow up on declined work, no-shows, and incomplete bookings.
  • Handle complaints or concerns promptly and escalate to the appropriate department when needed.
  • Database & System Management
  • Accurately enter and update customer and vehicle information in the DMS (e.g. EraNet, Auto-IT, Reynolds & Reynolds).
  • Create and manage repair orders (ROs) and ensure all job details are recorded correctly.
  • Process internal bookings (demo vehicles, pre-delivery inspections, staff vehicles, etc.).
  • Assist in balancing the workshop load across multiple brands and franchise requirements.
  • Work closely with the service department to prioritise urgent jobs or customer requests.
