We operate out of a state-of the-art facility in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, with an additional network of sales offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. We are offering a unique opportunity for an undergraduate Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer to gain hands-on industry experience as operating the latest European metal processing technology.
About the role:
Working as a press brake or other machine operator, you will receive comprehensive training and gradually take on more responsibilities, gaining valuable industry insights and technical expertise. Your key duties will include:
- Operating press break machinery with precision.
- Selecting and handling materials from stock.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Using hand and power tools effectively.
- Performing minor machinery maintenance tasks.
About you:
We're seeking ambitious and mechanically minded individuals who are eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will:
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate engineering degree.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Be capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Demonstrate proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Commit to following workplace health and safety standards.
- Capable to conduct manual handling tasks.
