The Role

As a member of our dynamic and forward-thinking mechanical services team, you will be responsible for providing efficient and innovative design solutions for various building services projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of accurate and detailed HVAC design solutions
  • Preparation of contract documentation for tendering and construction purposes
  • Managing design projects from concept through to completion including the consultation with all members of the design team
  • Attending site to inspect existing services and review construction works
  • Liaising with equipment Suppliers and Manufacturers
  • Researching new products and HVAC design practices and ensuring the Company remains up-to-date with the latest building services technology

Skills and Experience:

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Be degree qualified from a tertiary institution recognised in Australia (B Eng Mechanical or equivalent). NABERS accreditation will be an advantage
  • Have a minimum of three (3) years previous experience working with an engineering consultancy or relevant contracting company in building services
  • Have sound knowledge of the BCA and Australian Standards
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop your skill levels
  • Be proficient at driving and carry a C class license
  • Have proven written and verbal communication skills and sound problem-solving skills
  • Have the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
  • Have the ability to adapt seamlessly to change within the workplace
  • Have a high degree of professionalism and integrity
