Electrical & Mechanical Technician's

Protech are currently seeking Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians and Mechanical Technicians for residential based roles in Moura. 

About the role

As an expert in the maintenance team, you will be responsible for the execution of corrective and preventative maintenance tasks to achieve plant availability and reliability standards.

  • Permanent role employed directly with our client
  • Residential role; based in Moura QLD – This is a RELOCATION role, NO DIDO or FIFO available.
  • Monday – Friday roster with the occasional on-call duties shared amongst the team
  • RDO accrued fortnightly
  • Relocation assistance and housing support for successful candidates
  • For Electrical trades, our client will support you to undertake your Instrumentation qualification whilst employed

Requirements / qualifications and experience for the E& I Technician Roles include

  • Trade Qualification – Electrical or Mechanical
  • Valid QLD Electrical Licence
  • Current C class Drivers Licence – Essential
  • Dual Trade in Electrical Instrumentation – Highly desirable
  • Hazardous area maintenance experience at an operating plant – Highly desirable
  • Willingness to obtain SSAN (Security Sensitive Ammonium Nitrate) Clearance
  • ELECTRICAL - Experience with LV & HV electrical equipment, ideally on process plants or heavy industry
  • MECHANICAL - Experience with machinery work and rotating equipment, ideally on process plants or heavy industry
