About the role

Join the Phone Pirates team as a Phone Repair Technician & Sales Consultant at our NSW location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service and repairing a wide range of mobile devices. Your sales expertise will also be crucial in recommending the best products and accessories to meet our customers' needs.

What you'll be doing

  1. Diagnose and repair a variety of smartphone and tablet models, including iPhones, Android devices, and more
  2. Perform detailed troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware and software issues
  3. Provide exceptional customer service by listening to the customer's needs and recommending the best repair or replacement solutions
  4. Sell the latest mobile devices, accessories, and other relevant products to customers
  5. Maintain a neat and organised work area to ensure efficient and effective service
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide the best possible advice and solutions

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a mobile device repair technician, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of smartphone and tablet models
  2. Strong customer service skills and the ability to provide a positive and engaging customer experience
  3. Sales experience in a retail or customer-facing environment, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend the best products
  4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  5. Passion for technology and a keen interest in the latest mobile device trends and innovations
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner
