About the Role

Erect Safe Access Pty Ltd is seeking skilled and motivated Service Technician's to join our growing team based in Smeaton Grange. This is a hands-on role working in our modern, fully equipped workshop. If you would prefer to work on the road, we also have opportunities for suitable candidate's to work on the road, servicing and repairing our fleet of access and plant equipment across Sydney.

You will be part of a supportive team responsible for ensuring our machinery is safe, reliable, and performing at its best.


Key Responsibilities

·Perform scheduled and unscheduled servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of access equipment, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers

·Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults, both in the workshop and on-site

·Conduct pre-hire inspections and testing of equipment prior to hire or return to service

·Carry out quarterly and annual safety inspections and ensure compliance with Australian standards

·Assist in the setup and commissioning of new or refurbished equipment

·Accurately complete all service reports, timesheets, and job documentation

·Provide on-site and over the phone customer support and troubleshooting advice as required

·Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and service vehicle


What We're Looking For

  • Trade qualification in Plant, Heavy Vehicle, Light Vehicle Mechanics or similar
  • Previous experience as a Field Service or Workshop Technician
  • Solid mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
  • A safety-first attitude and a keen eye for detail
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Current driver's licence (essential)
  • Own basic hand tools
