How you'll make an impact

The Bank Transformation business unit is a cross-Bank function that services both the Lending & Everyday Banking and the Bank GO divisions of the Bank. The Bank Transformation function is accountable for delivery of change and is custodian of the practices and operating rhythms for ensuring that transformation execution aligns to business strategy, maximizing the realization of customer and business benefit.

As the Service Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role leading change delivery within one of the AMP Bank divisions. This role encompasses end-to-end delivery of multiple initiatives across the divisional transformation roadmap, ensuring timely and planned execution through collaboration with cross-functional teams. Additionally, the role involves embedding and maturing best practice agile methodologies to enhance delivery outcomes. Leading a change team of Service Delivery Leads, Business Analysts and Change Management support, this role ensures hands-on delivery of initiatives, driving continuous improvement and excellence in delivery execution.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Support the planning, development, and execution of build initiatives across the division
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Ensure that change is owned by the business while aligning delivery with capacity to achieve the agreed value and outcomes for both customers and the business.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to service delivery leads and teams, ensuring initiative objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Identify potential risks and issues that could impact delivery success and develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Communicate progress, and key performance metrics including team velocity to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the delivery team supporting positive employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Uplift ways of working, driving efficiencies and quality in delivery of strategic outcomes; Support a shift to agile ways of working and corresponding uplift in quality, efficiency, and speed from concept to release

What you will bring to the team

  • 5+ years' experience leading change delivery in a senior project/ program management related role
  • Experience working in fast paced and start up environments
  • Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience operating an Agile / lean way of working, and use of Jira and Confluence
  • Experience in resource planning and management is desirable
  • IT or Business degree or equivalent experience
  • Agile certification preferrable
