Business Systems Manager

Position Purpose:
The LPE Group Business Systems Manager leads the support, development, and continuous improvement of the systems that underpin our core business functions, including ERP, WMS, and CRM platforms. This role ensures that business systems are appropriately specified, scaled, and maintained to support critical business objectives. Acting as a key liaison between ICT and business stakeholders, the role identifies opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and enhanced system efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level leadership and subject matter expertise to ensure business systems are designed, configured, tested, and deployed as scalable, secure, and fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Collaborate with business users to understand, define, and document business and technical requirements, translating them into system specifications and enhancements.
- Deliver technical expertise, business knowledge, reporting, analysis, and coordination to support configuration, processes, and objectives across all core business systems.
- Document, manage, and maintain system configurations to ensure accurate and current system records.
- Plan, communicate, and manage change for significant system updates or enhancements.
- Lead business testing for system implementations, future enhancements, and ongoing feature set-up and validation.
- Recommend future solutions and improvements based on system capabilities, business needs, and emerging technologies.
- Develop and communicate a forward strategy for continual improvement of core business systems.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the performance and development of direct reports.
- Liaise with vendors, industry peers, and professional networks to stay informed of emerging technologies and trends.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expert knowledge of ERP, WMS, CRM, and other core business systems.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong planning, project management, and change management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Awareness of emerging technology trends and ability to apply them to business strategy.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Extensive experience in business systems management, ERP/WMS/CRM systems, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in leading system implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
