We are seeking an experienced and skilled full-time Service Manager, based in our Industrial Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to support the ongoing growth of the service department supporting our dynamic team to deliver exceptional results for our customers.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this key operational position, you will be:

  • Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic
  • 5+ years of post-trade experience
  • High level of exposure and experience with John Deere machinery and other agricultural brands
  • Demonstrated mentoring and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and KPIs
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to pivot and prioritise efficiently
  • Ability to adopt and lead change initiatives

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a proactive, diligent and organised leader who is able to work autonomously and as part of the greater team to achieve our Vision, Making It Easy for our people, our customers and our suppliers.

Reporting to the Industrial Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and providing technical expertise to technicians and apprentices
  • Leading and supporting the team to maximise labour performance and achieve targets and KPIs
  • Building customer relationships through effective communication, problem solving and support
  • Mentor and develop the team to increase service capability, safety adoption and improve service optimisation
