About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Facilities Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, functional, and welcoming environment across our campus. You will perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and coordinate contractors to ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs (carpentry, painting, plastering, basic plumbing/electrical).
  • Conduct regular inspections and address safety hazards promptly.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
  • Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a practical, solutions-focused individual who takes pride in maintaining safe and functional spaces. You'll have experience in general building maintenance, a strong understanding of safety standards, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others. Clear communication, reliability, and a proactive approach are essential to success in this role.
