We are now looking for a full-time Chef de Partie to join our vibrant team and help us deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare, cook, and plate dishes from your designated station according to the menu and established standards.

· Follow recipes and portion guidelines accurately.

· Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality during every service.

· Organise and complete mise en place (preparation) ahead of each service period.

· Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and efficiently run workstation.

· Monitor stock levels and report shortages or requisition needs promptly.

· Ensure all dishes leaving your section meet presentation, temperature, and flavour standards.

· Adhere strictly to hygiene, allergen, and food safety procedures (including HACCP guidelines).

· Check and rotate stock to minimise waste and monitor use-by dates.

· Supervise and support Commis Chefs or apprentices working on your section.

· Coordinate timing with other stations to ensure smooth and efficient service.

· Communicate effectively with the Sous Chef regarding timing, issues, or preparation needs.

· Collaborate with other sections to maintain a seamless flow during service.

· Assist with stocktakes and inventory counts.

· Contribute ideas for new dishes and daily specials.

· Support other sections as required, particularly during staff shortages.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a commercial kitchen.
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
  • Skilled in preparing a variety of dishes with accuracy and consistency.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
