About the Roles

We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our Mona Social team As Senior Chef de Partie you will join an exceptional team of professionals and deliver an elevated food experience to our guests. In the role you will:

  • Prep for service;
  • Deliver on-trend, relevant, seasonal food offerings from the kitchen;
  • Learn new techniques in all sections of the kitchen;
  • Manage stock and waste control;
  • Ensure that food is prepared and delivered to guests in line with The Boathouse Group standards of quality and service.
  • Supervising, training and mentoring Chefs of lower levels;
  • Overseeing multiple sections of the kitchen;
  • Assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef with ordering;
  • Ensuring adherence to food cost targets and portion control standards;
  • Providing feedback to the Sous Chef and Head Chef about staff performance and kitchen operations.

About You

To be the perfect addition to our team, you will have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Cook or Chef, working in a busy hospitality environment. You will also:

  • Have a confident and can-do attitude;
  • Be friendly, approachable and genuine;
  • Have a passion for well-executed food;
  • Be a team player with a collaborative working style;
  • Qualification in professional cookery (Certificate III) or similar from a recognised training institute or international equivalent.
