About the role
Join us to lead the First Nations Engagement in School Infrastructure program
We are seeking a dynamic leader to lead the First Nations Engagement in School Infrastructure program across NSW.
In this pivotal role, you will oversee initiatives designed to increase the participation of Aboriginal businesses and communities in the maintenance of NSW's public schools. You will play a key role in building sustainable training and employment pathways for Aboriginal school students, helping to empower the next generation through meaningful opportunities and partnerships.

About you
- Experience successfully building relationships and collaborating with multiple stakeholders including Aboriginal-owned business, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander workers, Aboriginal communities and other government agencies.
- Demonstrated program management experience to plan, manage and deliver programs, on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Working with Children Check clearance (WWCC) for paid employment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, business, education or a related field and/or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- This position is designated for the employment of an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. This initiative is authorised by the Department's Equal Employment Opportunity Management Plan in accordance with Part 9A of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
